Matt McCoy, 2nd Assistant Chief

Matt McCoy became a member of the Tooele City Fire Department in December of 2009.  Matt has held the following positions within the department: Firefighter, Lieutenant, Safety Officer, Fire Inspector, and now as 2nd Assistant Chief.

Matt is certified Firefighter and is a full-time firefighter for Tooele Army Depot.    

As a third-generation member of the department, Matt enjoys the comradery of Tooele City Fire Department, and feel honored to be part of such a dedicated organization.  Matt works as a full-time firefighter for Tooele Army Depot and in his free time enjoys time spending with family, on the farm, or in the mountains.  Matt is supported by his wife Alison and his two kids, Matti and Mason. 

Matt looks forward to serving the Tooele community and the Department.
